Questions
The things couples actually ask us.
Including the one about price, which is answered here rather than avoided.
What LOVEIN is
Are you a wedding planning company?+
No. A wedding planner manages an event: vendors, budgets, a guest list, a timeline that has to survive two hundred people. We coordinate a single day built around two people. Fewer moving parts, held far more closely.
Do you work outside Sicily?+
No, by design. Working in one place produces knowledge you cannot get any other way: the light by month, which locations empty at which hour, which artisans answer the phone in August. That depth is why the process feels personal rather than procedural.
Is this only for elopements?+
Proposals, elopements and vow renewals, each treated as its own thing rather than as a smaller version of a wedding.
Authenticity and privacy
We are worried it will feel staged rather than real.+
It is the right worry, and it is the one we design against. We build around what is already true of you: a place you would have chosen, an hour you would have picked, a setting that looks found rather than arranged. The only thing rehearsed is the timing, and only by us.
Can the moment stay completely private?+
Yes. At Moresca Farm you have the entire estate and no other event is booked. In public locations we know the hour each one empties, and we hold the permits that let us be there.
Who is actually there on the day?+
Cristiana, who leads the ceremony, and Salvo, who photographs it. The people who answer your first email are the people standing there.
Pricing and process
Why do you publish prices when others do not?+
Because you deserve to know roughly what a day costs before you spend an hour on a phone call. Our packages start at 890 euro and every one of them can be tailored further. What we cannot publish is the price of your specific day, because it does not exist until we have spoken.
What happens after I fill in the questionnaire?+
Cristiana reads it personally and writes back within two business days, with early thoughts and, if it feels right, an invitation to talk properly. There is no automated sequence and no sales call.
Does the questionnaire commit me to anything?+
No. It starts a conversation, not a contract. Nothing is confirmed until you say so, and there is no expiry on our reply.
How far ahead should we start?+
For a proposal, a few weeks is usually enough. For an elopement with a specific date at a specific location, three to six months gives us room. We have done both faster.
Sicily and logistics
Do we need to speak Italian?+
No. Everything from the first email to the ceremony itself is in English. Cristiana is a legal translator, so the documents are handled in both languages too.
Is a symbolic ceremony legally binding?+
A symbolic ceremony carries no legal weight, which is exactly why it can happen on a cliff or under an olive tree. A legally recognised marriage is a separate civil act with its own requirements. We explain precisely what applies to your nationality and residency in the first conversation, and we handle the paperwork if you want the legal route.
What time of year is best?+
Late September and early October are our favourite weeks: the heat has broken, the light is long, and the island belongs to Sicilians again. February, with the almond blossom out and the Valley of the Temples nearly empty, is the one almost nobody asks for and probably should.
Can you help with travel and accommodation?+
Yes, as part of the coordination. We are not a travel agency, but we know where to stay near each location and we will book on your behalf where it helps.
Locations and photography
Do we have to use Moresca Farm?+
No. Moresca Farm is our one private estate and it sits outside the fixed packages, arranged through A la Carte. Every package includes a free public location instead: the Valley of the Temples, Punta Bianca, Scala dei Turchi, Torre Capo Rama, La Rocca above Cefalu, or the old harbour of Ortigia.
Can we choose our own location?+
Often, yes. Tell us the place and we will tell you honestly whether it works, whether it can be permitted, and what hour it would need to be.
Are the photographs on this site real?+
Every one. Most were taken at Claire and Rob's elopement on 31 July, at Moresca Farm and in the Valley of the Temples, and they are published with the couple's permission. The landscape photographs of public locations we have not yet shot ourselves are credited to their photographers.
Still holding a question we have not answered
Ask it in the questionnaire. There is a space for exactly that, and a person on the other end.
